At least 30 Fast Producing Rolies bred by Haydenzilla Farm. Fast Producers love to eat and make babies. A fun species of isopod to have in your farm or vivarium. These charismatic critters are so fun to watch with their curious little attitudes. Carry them in your pocket habitat, take them to school, take them to work, they will be as snug as a bug... in your pocket. These require delicate handling while outside their habitat. This species do not curl into a ball when scared, they play dead. It won't take long to see small babies hiding among the adults. Females will typically give birth to 3 to 4 clutches of 40-60 babies from early spring to mid fall and maybe one clutch in the winter. Fast Producers can grow to over 1/2 inch long and live 3-5 years. They become sexually mature and start producing babies around 6-8 months old. Yours will be approximately 6-8 months old when shipped. Fast Producers prefer 60-80% humidity and temperatures between 70-80 degrees F but can tolerate temperatures as low as 40 degrees. They will eat just about anything organic including most vegetables, grains, and fish food. Do not overfeed or the uneaten food will attract fruit flys. Just like all isopods/rolies, Fast Producers get along well with other species of isopods/rolies.
